Tickets

A Premium Car ticket must be purchased in addition to the regular passenger ticket for the ride interval.
Purchase before boarding from Keihan Info-Station and other designated facilities at the below Keihan stations.

Yodoyabashi, Kitahama, Temmabashi, Kyobashi, Hirakatashi, Kuzuha, Chushojima,
Tambabashi, Shichijo, Gion-Shijo, Sanjo and Demachiyanagi
Payment method Cash only
Payment period From 10 a.m. 14 days prior until one minute before departure
Valid area Limited express trains between Yodoyabashi and Demachiyanagi Stations.
(The Premium Car has a golden door and is the sixth car from the Kyoto side.)

  1. Operation is mainly by limited express (generally the same as the current time schedule).
  2. The Liner
    The ■ symbol next to a time indicates the Liner, which provides limited service on weekdays. Although not a Premium Car, the Liner has reserved seating only and operates with regular cars. To ride the Liner, a Liner ticket may be required in addition to a regular boarding ticket. Consult a station attendant for details. Some liners stop at different local stations than limited express trains.

    How to read the timetable:
    Weekdays: Morning (Demachiyanagi → Sanjo → Gion-Shijo → Shichijo → Tambabashi → Chushojima → Kuzuha → Hirakatashi → Korien* → Neyagawashi* → Kyobashi → Temmabashi → Kitahama → Yodoyabashi)
    Weekdays: Evening (Yodoyabashi → Kitahama → Temmabashi → Kyobashi → Korien* → Neyagawashi* → Hirakatashi→ Kuzuha → Chūshojima → Tambabashi → Shichijo → Gion-Shijo → Sanjo → Demachiyanagi)
    *The Liner for Yodoyabashi departing from Kuzuha and Hirakatashi stops at both Kōrien Station and Neyagawashi Station.
  3. The time to travel between Yodoyabashi and Demachiyanagi Stations during the daytime is 54 minutes.
  4. It is approximately 40 minutes by limited express from Kyobashi to Gion-Shijo.
